Baby Pig Restart™ APF is an animal protein free top-dress powder supplement to support feed intake of young pigs at weaning.
WHEN TO USE:
- Top dress on starters to entice young pigs to consume dry feed after weaning
- Add to gruel to provide added energy and nutrients to reduce fall behinds when pigs are weaned
- Use in the farrowing room in pens to provide challenged litters with critical nutrients to help prevent starve outs or stunting
Baby Pig Restart APF does not contain blood plasma or other animal protein, aiding in getting pigs on feed quicker

Directions For Use
Top Dressing:
Top dress up 10 to 20 grams of Baby Pig Restart APF per piglet on the pig starter twice a day during the first 48 hours after weaning. Maximum feeding rate of 40 grams/pig/day.
Liquid Feeding (Gruel):
For pigs of any age, showing signs of stunting or starving, mix 100 to 150 grams of Baby Pig Restart APF in 1 liter of warm water to form a tasty gruel. Initially feed 20 grams of the gruel alone for 1-2 feedings to attract pigs to the pan, mat or feeder. On subsequent feedings pour the gruel on top of starter pellets to encourage dry feed intake. Maximum feeding rate of 100 grams/pig/day of gruel.
Oral Feeding for one-five day-old pigss:
Mix one part of Baby Pig Restart APF with two parts of water and stir well to make a suspension. Slowly feed 15 ml of the suspension on the back of the tongue to severely stunted or starved one-to five day-old piglets. Repeat as needed, typically feed 30 ml of suspension and feed a maximum of 60 ml of suspension/pig/day.
